Does ROTO-iD work with other RFID Tags (other than the ROTO-iD Tags)?

Yes, the ROTO-iD software will work with any RFID Tag or Barcode, this includes RIFD inmould graphics currently available on the market. You do not have to use the ROTO-iD Tags.

Do I need to drill the 6mm location hole into my product to install a ROTO-iD Tag?

Yes, the 6mm location hole is as this anchors the tag while being fused to the rotomouled product during installation. Once installed the centre location pin on the tag will seal up the hole preventing any leaks (if installed on a liquid storage tank).

Are the ROTO-iD Tags waterproof?

Yes, once installed the ROTO-iD Tag is fused to the rotomoulded product and is 100% waterproof.

Are the ROTO-iD Tags available in any other colours or materials?

Currently the ROTO-iD Tags are available in Roto Quip Grey, Anthracite Grey, Alert Orange and White (Natural). Custom colours to match a product can of course be ordered (an MOQ may apply). The ROTO-iD Tags are made from Polyethylene but can be supplied in polypropylene for products moulded in PP.

Can I use another brand or series of RFID Reader other than the Chainway C66?

Currently the ROTO-iD Software is only compatible with the Chainway C66 Reader.

Do I need to buy more than one RFID Reader?

No, a single RFID Reader can be used to log products at multiple production stations however more than one RFID Reader may streamline and simplify the process.

Is training offered for the ROTO-iD Software?

Yes, every new client will receive software installation, set up and training as part of the once-off set up fee.

How many users can be set up on ROTO-iD?

Roto-iD offers an unlimited number of users within the same company.

Is there technical support for ROTO-iD?

Yes, any technical issues can be logged within the software itself and will be delt with promptly by our technical support team.
